Josef Johansson, born on June 10, 1993, in Tunisia, is a Tunisian-Swedish singer. Raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, he began singing at age six and later moved to Stockholm where he appeared in several recordings as a demo artist for American producers. In 2012, Johansson signed with Warner Music and released his debut single "Baby Baby" the following spring. The song gained traction on Swedish radio stations. His first EP, Baby Baby (Remixer), was released in July 2013. That same year, he received the Ted Gärdestad scholarship for his songwriting. In 2014, Johansson participated in Melodifestivalen 2014 with "Hela Natten," though he did not qualify for the finals. The song peaked at number 58 on the Swedish Singles Chart.
