Paul Posnak is an American pianist and music academic. His musical journey began at a young age when he received a scholarship to the Juilliard Preparatory School of Music at eight years old. Posnak earned degrees from Juilliard, winning notable prizes including the Loeb Prize. His career as a concert pianist included performances at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Halls in New York City, the White House, the US Supreme Court, and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as well as throughout Europe, South America, and Asia. Posnak is known for his transcriptions of original improvisations by George Gershwin and Fats Waller, which have been published by Hal Leonard. He has played with renowned vocalists like Luciano Pavarotti and Jennie Tourel.
