Amanda Christian Amaya-Shaw, born on August 2, 1990 in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American singer and Cajun fiddler. She began her musical journey at four with classical violin training, transitioning to Cajun music by eight. Shaw released her debut album Little Black Dog independently in 2001. In 2004, she followed up with I'm Not a Bubble Gum Pop Princess. Shaw signed with Rounder Records in 2006, releasing her third album Pretty Runs Out in 2008. She has performed annually at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
