Bernard Adamus, born on December 16, 1977, in Gdynia, Poland, is a Quebec singer-songwriter of Polish origin. He immigrated to Quebec with his family at the age of three and grew up in Montreal. Adamus gained significant attention at the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée in 2009, where he won six out of ten jury prizes, including the award for Best Performance. His debut album Brun, released in 2009, featured notable tracks such as "La question à 100 piasses" and "Brun (la couleur de l'amour)". He won the Prix Félix-Leclerc de la chanson in 2011 and was named Révélation de l'année at the ADISQ gala that same year. Adamus followed up with Nº 2 in 2012 and Sorel Soviet So What in 2015. After a hiatus, Adamus returned with his fourth album, C’qui nous reste du Texas, in 2019.
