Diemonds, a Canadian hard rock group from Toronto, formed in 2006. The band's early breakthrough came with their debut EP In the Rough, released in October 2008. Diemonds embarked on extensive tours across North America, supporting acts like L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. In 2012, they signed with Underground Operations and released their debut album The Bad Pack, which was later reissued in Japan. Notable singles from this period include "Take On The Night" and "Livin' Tonight." Diemonds continued to tour extensively, performing at major festivals such as SXSW and Heavy MTL. Their subsequent albums included Never Wanna Die (2015) and the self-titled Diemonds (2018). The band received critical acclaim, including the High Times Magazine Doobie Award for Best Underground Artist in 2013.
