Harvey & the Wallbangers, a UK jazz vocal harmony group, formed in 1980. The band gained prominence through performances at major venues across the UK and Europe, including the Royal Albert Hall, The Forum, and Sadler's Wells. Their debut album Allez Bananes! was released in 1984 under their own label Hubbadots, followed by Wallbangers A-GoGo in 1985. They also notably appeared on the Royal Variety Show and BBC Radio 2. The band disbanded after a final performance at Sadler's Wells Theatre in May 1987. Post-dissolution, Christopher Purves pursued an operatic career.
