Suzanne D’Mello, also known as Suzie Q, is an Indian singer, songwriter, vocal arranger, and lyricist born on 15 October 1978 in Mumbai. Active in the music industry since 1994, she has built a diverse career as a playback singer in Bollywood and regional cinema, collaborating with renowned composers like A.R. Rahman, Pritam, Ilaiyaraaja, and Vishal–Shekhar. Her voice features on popular tracks such as “Khalish” from Chocolate (2005), “Mahiya” from Awaarapan (2008) and "Tum Ha" from Rockstar (2011). She also contributed vocals to the internationally acclaimed Slumdog Millionaire (2008) soundtrack, including “Latika’s Theme” and “Dreams on Fire.” Beyond playback singing, D’Mello performs globally with her live band, covering genres like pop, jazz, R&B, country, and Broadway. She is also the vocal producer and arranger for the a cappella group RaagaTrippin’.
