Sound of Contact is a British-based progressive rock band formed in 2009 by Matt Dorsey, Dave Kerzner, Simon Collins, and Kelly Nordstrom. The group released their debut album Dimensionaut on August 5, 2013, preceded by the single "Not Coming Down". After signing with Inside Out Music in March 2013, they toured with Marillion and Spock's Beard. Sound of Contact won the Limelight award for Best New Group at the Progressive Music Awards in September 2013. Kelly Nordstrom left the band in 2013, followed by Dave Kerzner in January 2014. Both rejoined in April 2015 but Nordstrom departed again in January 2018 along with Simon Collins.
