Since their formation in Copenhagen back in 2009, The Foreign Resort has dedicated themselves for over a decade to refining a sound that explodes with the raw energy of post-punk and delves into sombre shades of melancholy. Live on stage is where The Foreign Resort is experienced best. The trio have toured relentlessly, addicted to the allure of lost highways and the pleasure of meeting their audience face to face. The Foreign Resort has shared bills with bands like Cold Cave, Killing Joke, The Soft Moon, She Past Away and many more. Since 2010, the band has been rigorous in playing more than 600 shows across North America and Europe with performances at festivals like SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, Canadian Music Week, Cold Waves Festival, Nocturnal Culture Night, Wave Gotik Treffen, Amphi Festival and W-Fest.
The trio released the full length “Outnumbered” in 2019, "The Rabbit Hole" EP in 2020 and "OutRemixed" in 2021. The singles "Resound" , "Southern Skies" and "Endurance" are from The Foreign Resort's forthcoming album to be released in the spring of 2026 on Artoffact Records.
