Lyla Foy, born in 1988 in London, United Kingdom, is a British singer-songwriter. She began her musical journey at an early age, influenced by her father's love for Ella Fitzgerald. Foy released her debut single "Magazine" under the name Wall in 2012. In 2013, she released her debut EP Shoestring. Later that year, Foy adopted her real name and signed with Sub Pop, releasing the double a-side single "Easy"/"Head Down". In 2014, she released her debut album Mirrors the Sky via Sub Pop. Notable songs from this album include "Honeymoon", "I Only", and "No Secrets".
