First Place, a Japanese music duo, made their major debut with the single "Sadame" on August 29, 2018, which served as an ending theme for the anime Detective Conan. Before their major breakthrough, members KENTO and TAIHEI formed the group in July 2014, later joined by RYOMA in 2015 and KAITO in 2017. Known for their extensive experience from over 800 street performances in Tokyo's Shibuya and Harajuku areas, the group honed their skills in public, building a significant presence. They were previously signed with Being Inc., a notable entertainment company, and had a fan club named "ZERO place" launched in February 2018. In 2020, former member KAITO began a solo career as a lyricist, composer, and artist under the name Okuzaki Kaito, still associated with Being Inc. However, by June 2021, First Place announced the termination of their fan club services and concluded their contract with Being Inc., marking a significant transition in their career. Their notable releases are "Sadame"(2018), L.D.Love (2019), and "Snow Light" (2019) .
