Antonio Nunzio Catania, born on January 29 in Catania, Sicily, began playing guitar at age 4 and founded his first band at 10. After studying classical music and audio engineering, he moved to London in the mid-1980s, then to Germany where he worked with Frank Farian. He launched Catania Music Studios and rose to fame in 1994 by producing Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop with Scatman John. In 1998, he co-founded R’n’G with Alex Christensen. He later produced for artists like Haddaway and The Weather Girls. After moving to the U.S. in 2005, he founded CATANIA MUSIC in 2019 and remains active in international productions.
