Iori Nomizu (born October 18, 1985) is a Japanese voice actress, singer, songwriter, and actress from Kiryu, Gunma, raised in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Known for her versatility, she uses the hiragana spelling of her name for her music career. Nomizu's early aspirations in acting and creative arts led her to train in theater and songwriting. After debuting in various media, including TV dramas and mobile content, she gained recognition in 2005 with her role in the TV drama Densha Otoko. In 2009, Nomizu shifted her focus to voice acting, inspired by her love of anime and its transformative storytelling. Her breakthrough as a singer came in 2011 with the anime Is This a Zombie?, performing its opening theme Ma・Ka・Se・Te Tonight. In 2012, she co-founded the voice actor unit sweet ARMS, known for their anime theme performances. Nomizu has continued to balance her voice acting and musical careers, often contributing lyrics and compositions to her projects. Her single "D.O.B"(2015) showcases her dynamic range and creative depth, blending her signature energy with melodic artistry.
