South Korean dance music trio JTL (제이티엘) is comprised of former H.O.T. members – Jang Woo-hyuk, Tony Ahn, and Lee Jae-won. Debuting in 2001 with the single "A Better Day" from their inaugural album Enter the Dragon, JTL soared to the top of the Korean charts, gaining a loyal fanbase. Their sophomore album, Love Story, released in December of the following year, reached number 5 and earned the group a nomination for Best Male Group at the Mnet Music Video Festival. In August 2003, JTL returned with Run Away, which secured the number 2 spot, clinching the “Singer of the Year” award at the KMTV Korea Music Awards as well as the “Favourite Artist – Korea” award at the MTV Asia Awards. Despite their early success, the group disbanded the following year, after releasing their live album JTL The 1st Live Concert.
