Klaus Häger is a German bass singer. He studied under Franz Müller-Heuser, Ingeborg Most, and Jürgen Glauß in Köln and Freiburg, and refined his skills through masterclasses with Ernst Haefliger and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. Häger became a member of the Hamburg State Opera in 1991 and joined the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin in 1997. He is particularly noted for his recordings of J.S. Bach’s works, including BWV 244, 205, 213, 248, 26, and others. Häger has also performed in Lieder recitals, made numerous appearances on German television, and participated in festivals such as the Salzburg Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival.
