Pina Napolitano, born in Caserta, Italy, is a classical pianist who began studying piano at age four with Guisi Ambrifi. She later earned master's degrees in piano performance and in 20th-century piano music under Bruno Mezzena at the Music Academy of Pescara, as well as a Ph.D. in Foreign Languages and Literature from the Second University of Rome for her thesis on Osip Mandelstam's poetry.
