TempEau is a German rock group originating from Ahrensburg near Hamburg, formed in 2004. The lineup consists of Marek Harloff on vocals and bass, Jan Plewka on vocals and guitar, and Stephan “Stoppel” Eggert on drums, all of whom grew up in Schleswig‑Holstein. The group’s breakthrough came with the EP Die Temperatur des Wassers released on 4 October 2004, followed by the self‑titled album TempEau on 31 January 2005, which established their presence on the local scene and led to a television debut on Newcomer TV in autumn 2005. In 2006 the band released Kein Weg zurück on 5 May 2006; the single "Schöner Tag" reached 77th place on the German charts and the group represented Schleswig‑Holstein at the Bundesvision Song Contest, finishing 11th. That same year they toured as opening act for Bela B’s solo tour and appeared in the youth play Lila at Hamburg’s Schauspielhaus.
