Coppé, born Yoshimi Hasegawa in Tokyo, Japan on April 23, 1967, is a Japanese electronic music singer-songwriter and producer. She began her career as a child performer, winning awards such as the Children's Song Award at the 10th Japan Record Awards for her song "Peke No Uta" and appearing regularly on NHK TV shows. In 1995, Coppé retired from commercial radio to focus on music, releasing her debut album Coppé under Mango + Sweetrice Records. Her discography includes notable albums such as Peppermint (2000), Rays (2012), and Void (2013). Coppé is known for collaborating with influential artists like Plaid, Kettel, and DJ Vadim. She has performed extensively in Japan, the US, and Europe, including annual festivals at St. Giles in the Fields church, Soho. In 2023, she appeared on Orbital's number 10 album Optical Delusion, featuring on the track "Moon Princess".
