Wendy Rae Fowler was an American musician, writer, and producer. She began her career as a guitarist and bassist, joining the band Earthlings? in 1998. Following this, she contributed backing vocals to Queens of the Stone Age's Rated R album under the pseudonym Wendy Ray Moan. In 2005, Fowler met Richard File at a social gathering in Los Angeles, leading to the formation of We Fell to Earth. The duo released their self-titled debut album We Fell to Earth in 2009, which featured tracks in popular TV shows like Gossip Girl and CSI: NY. Fowler also collaborated with Mark Lanegan on his albums Field Songs and Bubblegum, as well as other notable artists such as Eagles of Death Metal and Maya Jane Coles. Her album releases included Warped (2018) and Warped: Resurrection (2021). She also self-released a song in 2025 titled "Hollow" with a remix credited to Fray Gile.
