Octurn

Octurn is a Belgian jazz ensemble that was formed around 1994. Led by Bo Van Der Werf, the group features an evolving lineup and is known for their experimental approach to jazz. Laurent Blondiau is the only member besides Van Der Werf to appear on every recording. Their albums include Ocean (1996), Round (2000), and Dimensions (2002). The ensemble has collaborated with musicians including Toots Thielemans and Kenny Werner. In 2016, the group released the album Tantric College featuring the Tibetan monks of Gyuto.
