Mimi Lo Man Chong, born December 30, 1974, in British Hong Kong, is a singer known professionally as Mimi Lo. In 1995, she made her solo debut with the EP Soft Heart and the album Waiting All My Life, spawning the singles "Challenger," "Soft Heart," and "Entanglement." That same year, she received the Silver Award for Best New Female Singer at the Ultimate Song Chart Awards Presentation. She followed this with A Heart Yearning to Get Married in 1997. In the early 2000s, she worked in radio, television, and dramas before returning to music with a self-titled cover album in 2003. In 2010, an appearance on The Voice reignited interest in her music, leading to her first large-scale solo concert at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium in 2012.
