Lucian Piane, born October 4, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American composer and music producer. Piane graduated from New York University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Music in musical composition. Working with composer Marc Shaiman, Piane collaborated on films including Team America: World Police, Rumor Has It..., and Hairspray. For his production work on the album Hairspray: Soundtrack to the Motion Picture, Piane received an RIAA Platinum Album Award and a Grammy Award nomination. Piane composed scores for the documentary An Omar Broadway Film, the film Pretty Ugly People, and the horror movie Sorority Row. Between 2009 and 2014, Piane produced the RuPaul albums Champion, Glamazon, and Born Naked. Under the nickname “RevoLucian”, Piane produced satirical techno remixes, including “Bale Out”, which featured audio of actor Christian Bale from the set of Terminator Salvation. Piane also appeared as a judge on the program RuPaul's Drag Race.
