Beccy Cole, born Rebecca Diane Thompson on October 27, 1972, in Glenelg, Australia, is a country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She began performing at age 14 with her mother's group, Wild Oats. In 1993, Beccy Cole won the Star Maker award at the Country Music Awards of Australia, leading to her first single, "Fooling' Around", which reached Number 2 on the country charts. Her debut album, Beccy Cole, was released in 1997, followed by Wild at Heart in 2001, which peaked at Number 4 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart. Beccy Cole has received nine Golden Guitar trophies at the CMAA Country Music Awards of Australia. In 2016, her single "Poster Girl (Wrong Side of the World)", won Song of the Year at the CMAA awards. Other solo releases include Little Victories (2003), Feel This Free (2005), Songs & Pictures (2011), Sweet Rebecca (2015), and Lioness (2018). She collaborated with other artists such as Adam Harvey and Melinda Schneider. In 2026, she released Through the Haze, her first solo recording in eight years.
