Bjoner has also performed at various prestigious opera houses worldwide. Notable roles included Elsa in Wagner’s Lohengrin, Ariadne in Strauss’s Ariadne auf Naxos, and Isolde in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde. She passed away on September 4, 2006.
