New Champ (뉴챔프), born Jung Hyun-chul (정현철) on June 1, 1986, is a South Korean rapper known for his intense lyrical style and contributions to the K-hip hop scene. He debuted under Broadway in 2013 and has since built a solid discography that showcases his versatility and raw storytelling. His music often explores themes of struggle, resilience, and artistic expression, with notable releases such as the album IN THE GRAVE (2020), the EPs Training Zombie (2017) and Lonely Wolf (2023), and singles like "Microphone Machine Gunner" (2015) and "Drunken Tiger's Kids" (2022). New Champ released his latest single, "sorry" in 2025.
