Cocktail Slippers, an all-female rock band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 2001. The group emerged from another all-female band called the Barbarellas. Their debut album Rock It! was released in 2001 under MTG Records. In 2004, they followed up with Mastermind and a limited edition CD single "Last Christmas/Kids In America". The band gained significant attention when they were signed by Steven Van Zandt's Wicked Cool Records in 2007. Their third studio album, Saint Valentine's Day Massacre, was released in 2009 and produced with Van Zandt and Jean Beauviour. Cocktail Slippers performed at major festivals such as South by Southwest in 2010 and 2011, and Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park, London in 2012. They were also featured in the Norwegian/American mafia comedy Lilyhammer. The band's discography includes five studio albums and numerous singles, with their most recent album being Shout It Out Loud released in 2022.
