Fierce Ruling Diva, a Dutch electronic music group formed in the Netherlands in 1995, emerged from the underground gabber scene with a pop-gabber orientation. The collective, comprising composers Jeff Porter and Jeroen Flamman, first gained attention with the 1995 single “You Gotta Believe” and later releases including the EP Rubb It In in 2012. Their activity intensified in 2012, when they released a prolific series of works, including the albums Revolt Of The Perverse, Frd, and The Sound Of Planet Earth, all issued on 10 April 2012, and the EPs Keep Moving In Time and Whipped Kream. The group also issued the single “Floorfiler (feat. Myrna Shakison)” on 10 April 2012, showcasing their evolving sound. Throughout 2012, they maintained a steady output with additional EPs Get Funky With Me (13 April) and I Don’t Wanna Be A Freak / Feeling Fly (14 April). The group’s activity peaked during this period, contributing to the development and visibility of happy hardcore and pop-gabber in the Netherlands.
