Claudia Lagona, who goes by the name Levante, is a Sicilian pop singer who had a number one hit on the Italy Singles Chart in 2018 with the track 'Assenzio' with singer J-Ax, rapper Fedez and the band Stash. Her 2014 debut album, 'Manuale Distruzione', went to number eight on the Italy Albums Chart and 'Abbi Cura Di Te' (2015) peaked at number 17. She performed at venues in America including the South By Southwest festival in Texas and earned a nomination in the MTV Europe Music Awards as Best Italian Act. 'Nel Caos Di Stanze Stupefacenti' (2017) reached number two on the Italy Albums Chart and 'Magmanemoria' (2019) peaked at number three. She released the single 'Tikibombom' in 2020 and performed at the 2020 Sanremo Music Festival.
