Lynne Randell, born Lynne Randall on December 14, 1949 in Liverpool, England, was a pop singer who migrated to Australia at age five. She began her music career at 15 when she was discovered by Garry Spry and signed to EMI Records. Her first single "I'll Come Running Over" reached number 11 in Melbourne. Randell's popularity grew with hits like "Heart" and "Goin' Out of My Head" in 1966, and "Ciao Baby" in 1967. She toured the United States with The Monkees and performed alongside Jimi Hendrix. Randell's addiction to methamphetamine, which she developed during her US tour, significantly impacted her career. Her last single "I Love My Dog" was released in 1969. Randell passed away on June 8, 2007.
