Rappers Against Racism was a German hip-hop collective founded in 1998 in Kaiserslautern. The project originated from an initiative by rapper Joe Thompson, also known as Down Low, and Ronald Bähr of the local hip-hop label K-Town Records. Their goal was to unite various European hip-hop artists and address societal racism and discrimination based on skin color. The group's lineup varied but included notable figures such as La Mazz, Trooper Da Don, Jay Supreme (of Culture Beat), the Dungeon Mastaz, and rapper Richele.
The collective's debut single was a cover of "I Want to Know What Love Is", released in March 1998 through ZYX Music. This was followed by additional singles "Key to Your Heart" and "Only You" later that year, all of which charted in Germany. In 1999, they released the single "Sorry" and their first album The Message. The group also gained traction in Italy, where their album (released as Only You. The Album) topped the Italian charts in the summer of 1998. Subsequent releases included the singles "Hiroshima" in August 2000 and "Streets of London" in December 2001. Despite these successes, the group became inactive after 2001.
