Composer/Producer/Musician
It’s been quite a journey since I began my career as a composer and producer in the '90s. My passion for music has kept me going all these years. I view each track as a unique piece of art, akin to a painting or sculpture, with every part and moment carrying its own expressive meaning. Regardless of the genre, producing music has always been an intriguing, challenging, and pleasurable endeavor for me.
I have contributed to music scores, original soundtracks, and background scores for Indian, British, and American films and shorts. However, most of my acclaimed work lies in non-film songs, with over 40 music albums released through well-known record labels. Unfortunately, more than 50% of my original work in India is in the public domain, often uncredited or benefiting others. Despite this, no regrets, as I have more music to create, and my past works continue to inspire and teach me.
Born and raised in Assam, India, a region where folk music holds significant importance, I have learned that the roots of indigenous melodies worldwide share similar instincts and feelings. Today, the use of various musical instruments (both real and virtual) and audio technology has united the world. Music, as a universal language of expression and emotion, motivated me to write and record my recently released album, “ONE.”
