British electronic music group Sweet Female Attitude is best known for the 2000 hit "Flowers". Created in Manchester in 1996 by producer and manager Mike Powell, Sweet FA (its abbreviation) includes DJ Shine MC and two female singers, Leanne Brown and Charlene Morrison, later replaced by Sarah Bridgewood and then Catherine Cassidy. Released in April 2000, "Flowers" was remixed by several producers, and it was one of these versions, by DJ Ceri Evans aka Sunshine, that reached #2 in the UK and went double platinum. That same year, the follow-up "8 Days a Week" reached number 43, before the release of the Don't Tell Me EP in 2001. Absent for many years, the project was relaunched in 2016 with the track "Part of Me", followed by further singles at a steady pace with different partners. After a remix of "Flowers" by Meziah in 2023, the unreleased "Teardrops " was released in 2024.
