Two Of Us is a German pop duo formed in 1985 in Reutlingen. The band consists of Ulrich Herter (guitar and keyboards), and Thomas Dörr (drums). Prior to forming Two Of Us, Herter and Dörr had collaborated in the band Hubert Kah and later in the project Kiz. Two Of Us gained immediate success with their debut single "Blue Night Shadow", which became a top-ten hit in Germany and Switzerland in 1985. Their first album Twice As Nice followed shortly after, although it did not match the commercial success of their initial single. The duo continued to release music throughout their career, including the mini-albums Two Of Us, Blue Night Shadow, "Love Is So Sensible", and "Generation Swing" in 1985 and 1986, as well as the singles "We Got To Break It Out" (1987) and "My Inner Voices" (1988). Their second album Inside Out was released in 1988. Despite their early success, Two Of Us disbanded at the end of 1988 due to waning popularity and lackluster album sales.
