Maurice Joshua, born 1967 in Chicago, United States, is an American DJ and electronic music producer. He first emerged on the house scene with the underground single "I Got A Big Dick" in 1988, which set the stage for his breakthrough track "This Is Acid" (1988), reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart in April 1989 and remaining there for two weeks. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Joshua produced remixes for pop, soul, and R&B acts, including Destiny's Child, Michael Jackson, Rihanna, and Kim English, and achieved a Grammy Award in 2003 for his remix of Beyoncé’s "Crazy in Love" under the title "Krazy in Luv (Maurice's Nu Soul Mix)".
