Toni Landomini, known professionally as Toni-L, was born on September 11, 1969, in Heidelberg, Germany. He is a German musician and rapper of Italian descent who began his musical journey during the 1980s while attending school in Heidelberg. There, he started rapping and breakdancing with classmates, eventually forming the rap group Advanced Chemistry in 1987. The group addressed issues faced by migrants in Germany through politically charged songs like "Fremd im Eigenen Land" and "Operation Artikel 3". Toni-L co-founded the influential German rap label MZEE in 1992, which later led to the creation of 360° Records. His solo career began with the album Der Pate in 1996, followed by Der Funkjoker in 2002. He has been instrumental in preserving hip-hop history and donated archival materials from Advanced Chemistry to the Heidelberg City Archives in January 2020.
