Bon Harris, born Vaughan David Harris on August 12, 1965, in Chelmsford, is an English composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. Harris established a musical background in 1983 as a founding member of the electronic body music group Nitzer Ebb. The recording career featured programming, synthesizers, and drums for the albums That Total Age (1987), Belief (1989), Showtime (1990), and Industrial Complex (2010). Harris also provided vocals for several tracks, including “Let Beauty Loose”. His professional activity included collaborations with Depeche Mode, The Smashing Pumpkins, and Marilyn Manson for the album Holy Wood (2000). Harris co-produced the Billy Corgan album TheFutureEmbrace (2005) and established the solo project Maven. His discography featured the EPs Mary (2006) and Staring at Eastern Lights (2014). Harris specialized in film and television composition for programs such as Project Runway, Top Chef, and Treasure Hunters. In 2020, activity featured the streaming solo project “Songs: From the Lemon Tree” and the side project D-R-A-G.
