Moonbabies, a Swedish bubblegum pop duo, was formed in 1997 by Ola Frick and Carina Johansson. Their debut EP Air>>>Moon>>>Stereo was released in 1999, marking the beginning of their musical journey. The group's first album, June And Novas, followed in 2000, and they embarked on a U.S. tour in the spring of 2001. Their second album, The Orange Billboard, was released in 2004, accompanied by a European tour. Moonbabies continued with War On Sound in 2005 and The Moonbabies At The Ballroom in 2007. After a hiatus, they returned with Wizards On The Beach in 2015. Notable singles include "I'm Insane But So Are You" (2000) and "Take Me To The Ballroom" (2007). Their music evolved from shoegaze influences to a more pop and electronic sound.
