Woodlock is an Australian alt-pop and folk band formed in 2011 in Yarrawonga, Victoria. The group consists of New Zealand-born brothers Zechariah and Ezekiel Walters on guitar and vocals, who met Australian drummer Bowen Purcell while travelling overseas. They gained initial popularity through busking performances across rural and capital cities, eventually settling in Melbourne. The band released its first independent EP, Lemons, on March 23, 2013. Produced by Wayne Connolly, the record featured five songs and led to appearances on BalconyTV and Triple J. In May 2014, the group released the EP Labour of Love, which reached number 97 on the ARIA Top 100 chart. This was followed by the EP Sirens in September 2015 and a subsequent country-wide tour. After signing with Nettwerk Records, the band released its debut full-length album, The Future of an End, on February 26, 2021. Later that year, the group released another EP titled I Loved You Then.
