Wilhelm Loibner was born on January 5, 1909, in Vienna, Austria, and was a conductor. Loibner studied piano, composition, and conducting at the Wiener Musikakademie under Clemens Krauss and Franz Schmidt. In 1931, Loibner began his career as a Korrepetitor at the Wiener Staatsoper, advancing to Kapellmeister in 1937. From 1957 to 1959, Loibner served as the chief conductor of the NHK Orchestra in Tokyo. His few recordings included a waltz collection from Der Rosenkavalier and Max Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1. Loibner passed away on April 23, 1971, in Bad Hall, Austria.
