Nik Tyndall, born Jürgen Krehan in 1963 near Stuttgart, Germany, is a DJ and electronic music producer. In 1979, he met electronics engineer Rudolf Langer, and the duo moved to West Berlin in 1980, beginning their musical collaboration. Their first releases appeared under various names on Sky Records from 1980 onwards. By 1983, Krehan adopted the stage name Nik Tyndall and started releasing solo albums. Notable early works include Entspannung (1985) and Einklang (1986). Throughout his career, Tyndall has released nearly three dozen albums, including collaborations such as Am Sternentor Live (1995) and notable projects like Healing Hands (1996). His music spans various genres within electronic music, from ambient to trance. Tyndall's work has been featured at prominent events such as the Elektroniktagen in Berlin and the Ars Electronica festival.
