Count Raven, a Swedish doom metal band, was formed in the late 1980s in Stockholm under the name Stormwarning by Dan "Fodde" Fondelius on guitar, Tommy "Wilbur" Erikson on bass, Christian "Renfield" Petterson on drums, and Christian Linderson on vocals. The group changed their name to Count Raven in 1989 and released their first studio album, Storm Warning, in 1990. Following Linderson's departure, Fondelius took over vocal duties for subsequent albums, including Destruction of the Void (1992) and High on Infinity (1993). Internal conflicts led to a hiatus in 1995 and eventual disbandment in 1998. Count Raven reunited in 2004 and released Mammon's War in 2009, continuing with new members including Fredrik Jansson on bass and Jens Bock on drums.
