Anne Pashley, born on June 5, 1935, in Skegness, Lincolnshire, was a British soprano singer. She first gained recognition as an athletics competitor, representing Great Britain at the 1956 Summer Olympics and winning a silver medal in the women's 4 × 100 m relay. Pashley then transitioned into opera singing, studying at the Guildhall School of Music and making her stage debut in 1959. Her notable roles included the Second Boy in Die Zauberflöte at Glyndebourne in 1962 and a bridesmaid in Le nozze di Figaro at Covent Garden in 1963. She performed extensively at various opera houses, including the Royal Opera House and Welsh National Opera. Pashley passed away on October 7, 2016.
