Devin Hoff is an American bassist, composer, and arranger. She is a member of Sharon Van Etten & the Attachment Theory and co-founded Mendoza Hoff Revels with Ava Mendoza. Hoff's work includes composing for the Wholphin short film Look at the Sun and performing on the soundtrack for Anna Deavere Smith's Let Me Down Easy. She released her album, Solo Bass, in 2008, which was later named as one of Laurie Anderson's top 5 favorite albums. In 2018 and 2019, Hoff released Sigils and Baile as Baile, respectively. Her notable collaborations include work with Nels Cline, Cibo Matto, Kira Roessler, Xiu Xiu, and several albums with Ches Smith under the name Good for Cows.
