Tom Pettings Hertzattacken

Tom Pettings Hertzattacken was an Austrian rock band founded in 1980 by Eberhard Forcher. The group, named after Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, quickly gained traction with their debut performance at the Amerlinghaus in Vienna within a week of formation. In June 1980, they were featured on the sampler EP Donaustrand with the track "Tonight". In 1982, they released their self-titled debut album, featuring the single "Endlich im Radio". The following year saw the release of their second album Parties nach Zwölf, which included the hit single "Bis zum Himalaya", marking their only chart success. The band disbanded in 1985.
