Viktoria Yuryevna Zhukova, known professionally as Vika Tsyganova, was born on October 28, 1963, in Khabarovsk, USSR. She is a Soviet and Russian singer and composer. Tsyganova graduated from the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts, specializing in theater and film acting. Her musical career began in 1988 as the soloist of the group More with whom she released albums such as Caravel of Love and Autumn Day. In 1990, Tsyganova started her solo career, releasing her debut album Balaлайка-зараза in 1991 under the name Vika Tsyganova. She performed solo for the first time at the Moscow Variety Theater in 1993 and continued to release albums, including "Kalina Krasnaya" (1997) and "Solntse" (1998). Tsyganova collaborated with artists such as Mikhail Krug, releasing the album Dedication in 2002. Her album Come to My Home won "Album of the Year" at the "Chanson of the Year" award ceremony.
