Natalia Valeryevna Klyarenok, known professionally as Natalia Gulkina, was born on February 20, 1964, in Moscow. She was a Russian singer and actress. She began singing at a young age, influenced by her father, and started composing songs while learning to play the guitar. In 1986, Gulkina joined the group Mirage, where she recorded vocal parts for five songs including "Sunny Summer" and "Crazy World". After leaving Mirage in 1988, she embarked on a solo career with her first hit single "The Sun Is Burning", which became an instant success. In 1988, Gulkina formed the group Stars, releasing their debut album My Little Prince, followed by their second album Disco in 1989. The band gained significant popularity and toured extensively, including performances in China to an audience of about 20,000. Notable albums include Надо лишь мечтать (1993), Святая любовь (1993), Дискотека (1995), Танцующий город (1996), Просто мираж (2005), and Сама по себе (2012). Gulkina's career was marked by her dynamic performances and collaborations with various choreographers, notably Sergei Mandrik.
