Daniela Laura Herrero is an Argentine singer and actress born on August 19, 1985, in Berazategui. She released her debut studio album, Daniela Herrero, in 2001, which featured the songs “Solo tus canciones” and “Demasiado”. In 2003, she starred in the television program Costumbres argentinas and released the recording No Voy a Mentirte, which received a gold certification. Herrero received the Gardel Award for Best Female Artist Album in 2004. She performed at the Luna Park venue and served as the guest artist for Avril Lavigne in 2005. Her discography included the studio albums El Espejo (2005), Altavoz (2010), Madre (2012), and En un Segundo (2015). In 2012, she performed as the opening act for Tears for Fears. Herrero appeared in the 2017 film Hipersomnia and recorded the song “Cae el sol” for the production. In 2018, she received a Martin Fierro nomination for the track “Las estrellas”.
