Peter Schleicher, born on May 11, 1945, in Vienna, Austria, was a singer and musician. He started as a keyboardist in the late 1960s, founding bands like the Clan and Plastic Drug. Schleicher's debut album Hart Auf Hart - Peter Schleicher Singt Rolling Stones (1979) featured cover versions of Rolling Stones hits in the Viennese dialect. Subsequent albums include Fifty-Fifty (Wiener G'schichten) (1980) and Durch Die Wand (1983). Schleicher organized a concert at the ZU-GA-BE music venue in Vienna in 1995, featuring former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor. He passed away on January 17, 2015, in Vienna.
