Thor Görans was a dansband from Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, formed in 1976. The group's early career saw them releasing their debut album Svunna tiders lycka in 1982 and gaining traction with subsequent releases such as Glöm ej bort det finns rosor (1984) and Lyckans dag (1989). Throughout the 1990s, Thor Görans continued to release albums including Känslor mellan två (1990), Judy (1992), and Ta mig hem (1994). The band also contributed to the soundtrack of the film Black Jack in 1990. Thor Görans disbanded following their final gig on April 8, 2006, in Lycksele, Sweden. Subsequent releases include Lika barn leka bäst (2016) and a compilation album titled 40 År på Vägarna 1975-2015.
