Sykur (founded 2008) is an Icelandic electronic band from Reykjavík. The group consists of Agnes Björt Andradóttir (vocals), Kristján Eldjárn, Halldór Eldjárn, and Stefán Finnbogason. Finnbogason previously performed with the tribute band Underdrive. Sykur released the debut album Frábært eða frábært in 2009 through Record Records. The album featured the song “Viltu Dick?”. In 2011, Sykur released the second album, Mesópótamía, which included the singles “Shed Those Tears” and “Reykjavík”. The group released the single “Curling” in 2012, which was later remixed by Dan Le Sac and Database. Sykur released the singles “Strange Loop” (2014) and “Loving none” (2018) before releasing the album Játakk in 2019.
